We grow our chicken, pork, lamb and turkey all grow out on pasture or in brushy areas we are converting into pasture. We only feed non-gmo Feeds and seek to grow happy healthy animals. Manure and compost are utilized in our gardens, as well as timely tilling with the hogs. We also employ strategies such as timing, hand removal, barriers, variety selection, and natural and biological controls for pests. We utilize raised beds, season extension, drip and overhead irrigation, choosing appropriate techniques based on the crops and growing conditions. It brings us joy to go out into our gardens and pastures to watch all the animals and plants growing happily.
